WW2 German Luftschutz Helmet – RL2 39/11

WW2 German Luftschutz helmet. Air Raid helmet. Sheet metal steel construction 3-piece “Gladiator” style helmet. The front Luftschutz winged decal is in Excellent Overall condition. The dark satin blue smooth paint still in Excellent overall condition it looks like it has been kept well , The liner is worn even though the original draw string is present but it is no longer attached.Chinstrap still Present & flexible it does have a worn spot near the buckle (please view photo)

RL2 39/11 stamp in the apron, which can be seen on the inside,reveals that the shell was manufactured at a Carl Busse factory in Mainz. I been told by collectors this is a rare helmet also stamped is Koptwelter 57
