Luftwaffe General Command Car Pennant

Overview

This pennant is associated with the German Luftwaffe during the World War II era. It typically features the Luftwaffe eagle emblem and was designed to be mounted on official vehicles of commanding officers. It is being stored between Acid free paper & along the top & bottom by acid free cardboard 

Measures roughly 15-1/2″ long and around 10″ tall

The item in the image displays tricolor horizontal stripes and markings such as

'Heereseigentum' and the date "1939.

Acuired several months ago from the bottom of a box full of old WW2 items in the Attic of a Deceased elderly man. 
Ive had photos taken & looked at by multiple Organizations including an WWII Authenticationer referred to me by the Smithsonian Institution, upon his examination he concluded after a 2 week study that it was indeed authentic. From there I have sent photos to several WWII Memorabilia retailers, but have gotten mixed responses. Some refused to identify it .some were not sure or unable to verify it 100%
but several others offered to buy it.For a high dollar amount with the option of sending me Payment & prepaid shipping label in advance. It seems the people who deal with it every day have different opinions (there opinions)to have it genetically examined would be extremely expensive for me.

i decided that after doing all the research & listening to the experts. I Would list it on my website and let the buyer decide. I’ve posted detailed unaltered & current photos.
